What we will cover in the training
- An understanding of what Sound Healing and Vocal Sound Healing are, setting a solid foundation for the rest of the course.
- Liberate your Voice Workshop
- Techniques to sing with a crystal bowl and shamanic drum. Introducing you to chanting with instruments.
- Overtone singing, a unique vocal technique that creates multiple tones at once.
- Vibrational singing, conscious and unconscious modulation of the voice, to explore the depths and potentials of your vocal output. Part of this will to explore Suntara's style of vibrato, or the "Suntara wobble". My aim is not to turn you into Suntara copies though! I will help you find your own unique style of vibrational singing.
- A day of practice in the beautiful nature around Ubud, immersing yourself in sound and healing.
- Advanced techniques of singing with various instruments such as handpan, djembe, koshis and the art of combining the voice with these instruments.
- The Maculine/Feminine Principle of weaving voices and weaving voice with melodic instruments.
- Using amplification, backing tracks and looping to enhance the sound healing experience.
- The process of crafting a sound journey, learning how to effectively plan and execute a 60 min sound healing session.
- Comprehensive practical experience, including a final exam where you bring together all you have learned to perform a sound healing session.
- Grand Finale Day at the iconic "Pyramids of Chi" Sound Healing Centre in Ubud.
Hosted at the stunning Taksu Spa and Wellness Center and Pyramids of Chi, Ubud, Bali!
We will spend most of our time in the Yoga Shala at the stunning Taksu Spa and Wellness Center, tucked away in a gorgeous forested area in the centre of Ubud.
For the Grand Finale we will spend the day in the "Earth Pyramid" at the Iconic Pyramids of Chi Sound Healing Center!
